6th St. Victorian On The Move

This past weekend, one of Avalon’s last few Victorian homes was on its way out of town. To save the structure from the wrecking ball, the house was disassembled and hauled to a storage facility by SJ Hauck Movers. It will spend up to 4 months there waiting for a new plot of land to be found where it can be put back together. The Avalon History Center staff spotted the roof sitting in the Community Hall parking lot and had to take some pictures, which we have for you here.
