Avalon Free Public Library Announces June Programming!

 

AVALON, N.J. – “Check It Out” at the Avalon Free Public Library! This 5-star rated library lists its June programming below for inclusion in your calendar of events and announcements. Note an Open House is scheduled for Saturday, June 18. The event will be open to the public and feature breakfast sponsored by Avalon Coffee, children’s activities including face painting, bounce house, caricature artist and more, plus a special Story Time with Belle at 10:30am. Attendees can pick up their library cards for the season and also enter for a chance to win an iPad Air.

Check It Out at the Avalon Free Public Library on Saturday, June 18 for the library’s family-fun Open House! Children and adults alike will enjoy breakfast from Avalon Coffee and fun activities including face painting, balloons, a bounce house and even a special story time featuring Belle from Beauty and the Beast at 10:30 a.m. Ongoing crafts and giveaways will be held in the library as well as video games and movies for all to enjoy. While you’re there, be sure to partake in the hands-on demonstrations featuring some of the library’s popular resources including OverDrive, Hoopla, Flipster, Freegal, Tumbe Books, Newsbank and more! And be sure not to leave without your prize! A gift bag will be given for every new library card application, and your name will be entered into a drawing for the grand prize of the day, a new iPad Air!
