Creative Writing Workshop

Receive tips and feedback on poetry, memoirs, short stories, articles, and books. Record an audio version and share your story. Registration is requested by calling 609-967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.

Intermediate Ballroom Dancing

with Ron and Barbara Troy. Thursdays, August 13 through October 15. The instructor will be teaching Cha Cha, Hustle, Samba, and Merengue . Registration is required by calling Linda Duffy (609) 967-5900 x 3157 or email lduffy@avalonboro.org with name and contact phone number. Registrants must have previous Ballroom Dancing experience.

iPad Workshop – iPad for Beginners

Learn about your iPad. We will start with hardware and work our way up to how to navigate the device. Be sure you have your Apple ID and password. (Required prior to class) Registration is required by calling 609-967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk. Avalon property owners may register on August 5. All others may register on August 19.

About Avalon Free Public Library

Avalon is a bustling little shore town in southern NJ. Our small population of 1800 expands to about 30,000 at the height of summer. We like to think that we serve them all and then some! Our goal is to make our library available to our patrons wherever they may roam.
